Description: A downloadable Excel file that users can use to estimate the length and size of a worker’s body segments based on their sex and standing height. Included in this resource are the calculator (the Excel file), accessible by a link at the resource, and an introductory video by an ergonomist on how to use the file. The calculator includes imperial and metric units and figures explaining the body segments included. The numbers represent population averages for a person of the given standing height and sex, a person’s segment length will likely vary somewhat from these initial estimates.
