Ergonomics for Construction Workers

Description: A 92-page booklet containing general information and a set of 20 “tip sheets” to help reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders for construction workers. The general information is focused on why construction workers are at risk for developing low back pain and upper limb disorders. Each tip sheet describes a specific task with a solution on how to perform that task in a way that reduces the risk of injury or pain development. Tip sheets contain illustrations with explanatory text and are grouped into four sections: 1) working at floor-level, 2) working overhead, 3) lifting, carrying, and moving objects, and 4) hand-intensive activities.
