Prevention of Materials Handling Injuries in the Grocery Sector

Description: A 24-page report that covers ways grocery store workers can use lift-assist and carry-assist device devices to prevent musculoskeletal injuries related to lifting and carrying. Tools suggested in the report include spring-loaded tables, conveyors, pallet jacks, hand carts, air hoists, stocking carts. Instructions and illustrations describe how to use these tools in grocery stores or workplaces with similar shelf restocking demands. Additional resources are provided at the end of the document.
