StressAssess Survey (OHCOW)

Developed by: OHCOW (Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers)

Description: An evidence-based online survey tool designed to assist workplaces in identifying psychosocial hazards that can lead to stress and mental injury, providing suggestions and pathways to address them. This tool is available as either an online tool or a downloadable app. The survey comes in two versions: Personal Edition and Workplace Edition. Both versions are based on an evidence-based psychosocial survey, the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ), and have been adapted to address concerns within the Canadian workplace. Data is anonymously collected to compare results with other workplaces. The Personal Edition is intended for users to assess their own mental health and general level of stress at work, with the resource providing feedback and advice to users. The Workplace Edition is intended for managers, supervisors, administrators, or others to assess a workplace as a whole on how it facilitates positive (or negative) mental health and well-being of its workers.
